"What can I do to prepare my file and optimize my price?"
For us to calculate the lowest price, it's important that your drawing file only contains objects to be cut out. The file should not include dimensions, texts, bend lines, drawing frames, or similar.
“Which file types can I upload?”
We recommend STEP files, but DXF works great as well. The maximum file size is 10 MB with a single detail per drawing. We automatically perform nesting and price optimisation.
"I want to create my own drawings but don't have CAD software, what can I do?"
Creating your own simple drawings to upload for cutting is not particularly difficult for most people, but it does require some initial investment of time and effort.
You need software (CAD) where you can create the drawings, and although most CAD software, such as Inventor, SolidWorks, etc., can be quite expensive, there are also completely free alternatives that work very well. We recommend LibreCAD, which is free and available for both PC and MAC.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide support or assist with drawings or LibreCAD, but there are many instructional videos available on YouTube!
“If you need further assistance you can book a 30 minute demo with us!”
