ater cutting
- Very high precision
- Cold cutting method – No heat impact on material
- Fine cut surfaces
- Cuts almost all materials except tempered glass
- Max cutting thickness 100 mm, regardless of material.
- Environmentally sound cutting method
Precision cutting of virtually all materials from 100 mm stainless steel to the thinnest fibre packs. The cutting process is cold and the cut surfaces are not affected by heat. Our waterjet cutting is equipped with additional equipment for cutting composites and sandwich materials such as carbon fibre, glass fibre, Kevlar and others.
The precision of the waterjet cutting is very good with a cut of only 0.76 mm and a tolerance of 0.1 mm.
Waterjet cutting is an environmentally friendly cutting technique with no cutting gases and generally low energy consumption, and we think that waterjet cutting in combination with fossil-free HYBRIT® steel will be a future combination for the least possible environmental impact.
Maximum format
2000 mm (w) x 3000 mm (l).
Thickness up to 100 mm regardless of material.

Waterjet cutting – a precision material processing technique
Waterjet cutting is an advanced material processing technique used in a variety of industries such as automotive, manufacturing and construction. It is a precision technique that enables accurate processing of different materials, from soft and delicate materials to hard and robust materials.
How does waterjet cutting work?
Waterjet cutting is a process where a jet of high-pressure water is used to cut through different materials. The jet can also be mixed with abrasive materials, such as sand or garnet, to increase the cutting speed. The high speed of the water jet, combined with abrasive materials, enables the cutting of materials with high precision and minimal deformation.
Why use waterjet cutting?
Waterjet cutting has several advantages over other material processing techniques. Firstly, it can be used to process different types of materials, whether soft or hard. Second, it is a highly precise method that allows cutting with minimal deformation. Thirdly, it is an environmentally friendly technology that does not use hazardous chemicals or gases.
What can be done with waterjet cutting?
Waterjet cutting can be used to process a variety of materials, including metal, ceramics, glass, plastics and rubber. It can be used to cut materials in different shapes and sizes, such as pipes, plates, trays and discs. It can also be used to cut through materials of different thicknesses, from thin layers to thick blocks.
Waterjet cutting for different industries
Waterjet cutting is a versatile technology used in a wide range of industries. In the automotive industry, it is used to cut through steel and aluminium to produce bodies and other components. In the manufacturing industry, it is used to cut through various materials to create detailed shapes and patterns. In the construction industry, it is used to cut through concrete, brick and stone to create decorative surfaces and shapes.
Summary
Waterjet cutting is an advanced material processing technique that allows for high precision cutting with minimal deformation. It is a versatile technique that can be used to process different materials and is common in the automotive, manufacturing and construction industries.
